A parent or legal guardian of an enrolled student in any ACHS Instrumental Music or Color Guard Program, in good standing, who has completed this years’s Membership Registry and engaged at least once during the current program year.

A face-to-face meeting with the Band Director about your interest in serving, completed before your nomination is submitted.

CANNOT BE WAIVED

At least two General Membership meetings, or two Organization-sponsored events or volunteer activities, in the twelve months immediately preceding the nomination period. Verified by the Secretary from official records.

ONLY WAIVABLE REQUIREMENT BY BOARD VOTE

No unresolved disciplinary matters, and no active removal proceedings against you at the time of nomination.

DIsclose any known conflicts of interest at or before the time of nomination, in accordance to the Organization’s Conflict of Interest Policy.

DIstrict teachers, coaches, administrators, and site staff may not serve as officers or Board Members, or be signatories on any Organization account - even if their own student is enrolled. A district requirement under NVUSD Board Policy and the School-Connected Organization Procedural Manual.

No two members of the same immediate family or household may serve on the Executive Board at the same time - spouses, domestic partners, parents, children, siblings, and anyone sharing the same primary residence.
